Although the phrase “next-generation platforms and analytics” can evoke images of machine learning, big data, Hadoop, and the Internet of things, most organizations are somewhere in between the technology vision and today’s reality of BI and dashboards. Next-generation platforms and analytics often mean simply pushing past reports and dashboards to more advanced forms of analytics, such as predictive analytics. Next-generation analytics might move your organization from visualization to big data visualization; from slicing and dicing data to predictive analytics; or to using more than just structured data for analysis.

But with limited resources and a real need to reduce risk, organizations need the ability to pull in threat-related data, combine it with an understanding of what is vulnerable, and figure out what is at risk. This report from Securosis outlines how yesterday's vulnerability scanners are evolving to meet this need, emerging as a much more strategic component of an organization's control set than in the past. Learn how vulnerability scanners are evolving to provide real value beyond vulnerability reports for auditors - emerging as a strategic component helping organizations effectively lower risks.

As a strategic partner in your business, you face increasing demands from your line-of-business leaders for new functionality and advanced capabilities, which you must deliver with a constrained IT budget. What could you do to meet these expectations and add value to the business if you could contain costs, increase operational efficiency, and do more with less? You need to overcome several challenges. Red Hat can help. Red Hat® Enterprise Linux® gives you the high-value subscription model, built-in governance processes, and simplified migration path you need to aggressively lower your

Agile integration — combining integration technologies, Agile delivery techniques, and cloud-native platforms to improve speed and security of software delivery — is a critical foundation for successful digital transformation. The pace of digital innovation and disruption continues to accelerate, driving the need for faster change to business models, processes, and applications. Firms that can quickly reconfigure and reconnect old and new applications have the advantage, and those with slow integration processes are at serious risk of losing customers. An Agile combination of integration and custom development is needed to meet the customer’s expectations and avoid losing market share to competitors that do put the customer first.1 For this study, we assessed the differences between successful and less successful Agile integration and app delivery strategies, why some firms can change their business faster, and what makes one integration strategy better than another.
