A recent eMarketer global survey revealed that nearly 56 percent of marketers would increase spending on brand-building activities over the next year compared to 42 percent who said they would be focusing on demand generation. Brand awareness was a higher priority for marketers than demand generation, global business expansion efforts or event spending.
