"Every organisation already has a system of agreement. It's how written agreements get prepared, signed, enacted, and managed. But typically, it involves a messy, improvised mix of printing, signing, scanning, faxing, and overnighting paper agreements. These needlessly slow legacy processes add costs to agreements due to wasted productivity and materials. It's time for a change. The DocuSign System of Agreement Platform connects the world's No. 1 eSignature technology to every other aspect of the agreement process. Read this white paper to learn how to modernise your System of Agreement, including how to: - Prepare agreements with a high degree of automation - Sign agreements quickly and securely - Act on agreement terms after signing - Manage agreements with flexible options"

"This paper contrasts the features of medium voltage fixed circuit breaker switchgear (FCBS) and existing withdrawable circuit breaker switgear (WCBS) designs. Modern FCBS design elements that are discussed include an internal disconnect for isolation and grounding of circuits and interlocked operation among disconnect, breaker, and grounding switch for improved safety. Furthermore, features such as lower maintenance, smaller footprint, and reduced life cycle costs that result from its simpler design will be explored. By comparing the traditional ANSI WCBS technology to that of the FCBS, this paper will demonstrate that the fixed design, which has gained widespread acceptance in global markets outside the United States, is a viable alternative to the withdrawable designs."

If you’re in the middle of a finance transformation initiative, then you’re not alone. Leaders at enterprise and mid-size finance and accounting organizations alike are reviewing their current processes, technology, and talent, to build their blueprints for change. With the rise of broader digital transformation projects, finance organizations are first looking to upgrade their own operating models. The truth is that finance transformation is a journey, not a destination. Many finance organizations have already embarked on it, driving down costs, whether through enhancing shared services centers, or applying more centralization, standardization, and automation. Yet for many, the greater opportunities lie ahead: providing better insight to the broader organization, shedding low-value workloads that hold the team back, and revamping ingrained legacy accounting tasks that create risk. Wherever you are today, there are real opportunities to move the dial away from the status quo.

Solvent printing is the perfect solution for signs, vehicle wraps, and many other print applications. Solvent inks produce top-quality graphics, enabling printing service providers (PSPs) to maintain high-volume output and lower production costs while providing their customers superior color gamut and accuracy. Although solvent inks provide great performance and have many additional bene ts, they come with one frustrating work ow drawback: the delays PSPs experience by having to wait for solvent ink to dry, particularly when the application requires lamination. A new breakthrough solvent ink technology solves this problem by reducing print curing time by at least 75% of the 24 hour waiting period normally recognized by media manufacturers and industry specialists. These new solvent inks make it possible for PSPs to laminate solvent prints on the same day they are printed. PSPs can achieve high image quality without sacri cing valuable time, plus they can avoid clutter and reduce spa

In 2001, the international research group, Gartner released a briefing paper titled 'Rightsizing Output Fleets – The Hidden Gold Mine'. This research paper identified total print costs to be as much as 1-3% of an organization's revenue, a figure far higher than anyone had previously suggested. Gartner argued that print costs are so high they offer a 'goldmine' for any procurement or IT manager looking for savings.

As offices review their office printing costs, one significant area almost entirely overlooked is the cost of having A3 devices. The perception is that the A3 document is as necessary to our office printing needs as power-steering is to our cars. The reality, as evidenced by NewField IT's review of more than 70,000 devices supporting over 200,000 users, is that A3 output in the office is remarkably low – less than 2.5% of total page volumes on average.

Buy-and-hold strategies can actually add costs to the datacenter, as systems age in place. Not only do hardware maintenance and software maintenance fees rise, over time – but the aging of applications also costs the organization money. Investing in a transition from POWER5 to POWER7 resulted in a return on investment (ROI) of more than 150 percent over three years. An insightful and and compelling discussion by IDC that reviews the primary reason for maintaining current systems -- Return on Investment. IDC studied IBM Power Systems sites that remained on the POWER5 platform long after its initial introduction in 2004. When comparisons to the succeeding generation of POWER7 are made, customers have found that the increase in scalability and performance of POWER7 systems, combined with a reduction in server "footprint" size and overall electrical requirements, resulted in significant reductions in ongoing costs, or opex, per 100 end users supported.

With a global monthly reach consisting of more than 500 million mobile users and billions of requests, Tapjoy historically relied heavily on their IT footprint. They needed an environment that would allow them to accelerate the development and improve the performance of their big data algorithms, which help drive real time decision-making that delivers the best content to their global audience. Tapjoy engineers opted for a cloud-based model to run their big data platform instead of bare metal, prioritizing agility and the ability to scale over bare metal performance. Initially they deployed at AWS, but as the platform grew and their AWS costs increased, Tapjoy began to look for ways to better manage their growing public-cloud spend while increasing efficiency. They needed to do this without compromising the cloud experience they were giving their developers.

Managed print services (MPS) offer organisations the opportunity to control costs, reduce the complexity of managing a heterogeneous infrastructure and improve business processes. With many organisations striving to do more with less, MPS can cut both capital and operational expenses. Now is the time to tackle the huge cost and productivity drain represented by an unmanaged print environment. MPS passes control of this complex infrastructure to the experts leaving an organisation to focus on its core business competencies.
